Description
Pre-requisite: Beginner Obedience Group Class (or test out with instructor to be enrolled in this class)
- This Group Class is 6 Weeks Long, meeting once a week, for 45mins-1hr with one 5 min potty break
- Class will pick up where Beginner Obedience left off
- We will start proofing our behaviors: such as Sit-Stays, Down-Stays, allowing distance for recalls, up the anty on "Leave It" and "Focus" Games.
- We will start putting together the AKC "Beginner Novice" Elements
- Week 6 we will have Graduation and we will have the Opportunity to test out for the higher levels of the Canine Good Citizen Program. We will be looking at the requirements for The Community Canine (CGCA). I have attached the items that need to be met in order to earn this title.
- We will also have field trips. We will go to a Lowe's or Home Depot-type stores and put our training to good use in public.
