Amerian Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Program
S.T.A.R. Puppy Certification:
Canine Good Citizen (CGC)
The Community Canine Good Citizen (CGCA)
The Urban Canine Good Citizen (CGCU)
We try to offer the certifications for the above AKC Programs once or twice a month. Our constant is the last Saturday of every month, However those dates are not set in stone and can be cancelled. If they are cancelled we will post it on our social media, website, and through our patient portal ProPet. If you plan on attending to one of our weekend certifications please email us info@evolutiondogtrainer.com with subject: UPCOMING CGC TEST and let us know what Level CGC, CGCA, or CGCU, or S.T.A.R. Puppy.
The 2nd opportunity we offer to get certified is at the end of our Beginner and Advanced Classes. If you sign-up for either of these classes during the last week of class we will prepare to take the CGC at the end (7th week) of the Beginner Class. We will also test for The Community Canine (CGCA) during the 7th week of the Advanced class.
The 3rd opportunity, is during a Vendor Event we will attend. We normally offer just the Canine Good Citizen Exam. When we announce the event we will out in the event wither or not CGC’s will be offered.

If you are interested in taking the CGC exam during the 7th week if class please let your instructor know the first week of class, so we can provide you with the Test items and if you are not registered with AKC we can get the information turned in and get you a number.
If you just want to do the course for fun at the end that is allowed an is free. If you want to send paperwork to AKC it will $25.00 for Evolution Dog Training, LLC and AKC Recording Fee is $25.00 that goes to AKC Directly.
There is no age requirement for CGC however we recommend 6 months or older
